The Law of Avatar Self-Determination

In fiction, and with an avatar as a referent, The Law of Avatar Self-Determination states that if the avatar achieves individuality from its controlling individual, both independence and personhood shall be granted to the avatar. The avatar's controlling individual shall then be forbidden from producing further avatars, typically temporarily but sometimes indefinitely.
